  basically, i was forced into it.

  believe me, baptism was the last thing i wanted to do.

  but i was already in my early twenties, and the rank and file were like why don't you get baptised!

  I seem to remember that the Aussies were saying how much they hate England and how easy they were going to beat us - well the master has tamed the slave!

  The mother nation has spoken - and Australia has been humbled!

  i've been lurking for a while, but have finally decided to post.

  this is a fantastic site with some really cool people (i feel like i know some of you already).

  circumstances forced me to start my fade about 10 years ago, and pretty much start my life from scratch (socially, at least - family have always been great).

  Ninja - I forgot about my favourite Scottish team, the mighty Gers!!!!

  My father is from Belfast and so I have strong Ulster connections.

  I know most won't have a clue what I'm talking about but I presume you will!

  lfcviking - no autographs as it was a very posh hotel (5 star don't you know!) and you could tell that the players didn't want to be bothered.

  We have a few photos and a video though and I spoke briefly with old Mr Benitez.

  We saw most of the players every day, including in the lifts and walking around the hotel.

  Liverpool are now my second team and I always look out for their results - hope they come second, to Arsenal!
